A leading member of the New Patriotic Party in the Wenchi Constituency, Richard Adu Kwadwo, has intensified efforts to reorganize the party at the grassroots as part of preparations towards the 2028 general elections, as he sets his sights on becoming the next Constituency Chairman.
According to him, the constituency needs strong structures, unity, and active grassroots participation to position the party for victory in the next elections, and this has informed ongoing reorganization efforts across the constituency.
Grassroots Reorganisation Underway
Mr. Richard Adu Kwadwo explained that the reorganisation process is focused on strengthening the party from the polling station level through to the electoral area and constituency levels. He said engagement with polling station executives and party members has already begun through meetings and consultations aimed at rebuilding a stronger and more united party front.
He noted that unity and discipline within the party remain key priorities, adding that executives and party stakeholders are being encouraged to put aside their differences and work towards a common goal.
“We are reorganizing the party from the base. We are meeting polling station executives, listening to their concerns, and putting in place measures that will make the party stronger and more attractive to the people of Wenchi,” he said.

Focus on Membership and Communication
He further explained that the reorganization effort includes membership mobilization, improving internal communication, resolving internal concerns, and early preparations towards the 2028 general elections.
According to him, building a strong political party requires early planning and constant engagement with members and supporters, not just during election years.
“Victory in 2028 starts now. We are not waiting for election year. We are building the structures, reconnecting with our grassroots, and working together as executives for the future of the party,” he added.
Eyes on Chairmanship
Mr. Richard Adu Kwadwo, who is aspiring to become the Wenchi Constituency Chairman of the New Patriotic Party, said his vision is to build a united, disciplined, and well-organized party structure that can deliver victory for the party in both parliamentary and presidential elections in 2028.
He called on party members, supporters, and sympathizers in the Wenchi Constituency to remain united and actively participate in party activities as the reorganization process continues.
He expressed confidence that with unity, proper organization, and hard work, the New Patriotic Party in Wenchi will regain full political strength and contribute significantly to the party’s national victory in the 2028 general elections.
