Amasaman, Ghana — Reverend Alice Adom Nyarkoah Aboagye, Chief Executive Officer of Builders of Africa Limited, has officially inaugurated the company’s construction tools manufacturing factory at Kojo Ashon, near Amasaman in the Ga West Municipality.
The inauguration ceremony, which was dedicated to God, brought together customers, traders and industry stakeholders who toured the facility and observed the company’s production processes.
Local Manufacturing Begins with Wheelbarrows
Speaking during the event, Rev. Aboagye explained that the factory has begun operations with the production of wheelbarrows, forming the first phase of the company’s manufacturing line.
She disclosed that the company intends to broaden its product range in the coming months.

According to her, shovel production is expected to begin between May and July, while the company also plans to introduce trowels and other construction tools as part of its expansion strategy.
Focus on Stronger, Durable Products
Rev. Aboagye noted that the company is focused on producing construction tools that are more durable than many imported alternatives on the Ghanaian market.
She explained that the wheelbarrow buckets manufactured by Builders of Africa Limited measure 1.2 millimetres in thickness, while the supporting pipes measure 1.5 millimetres.

By comparison, she said many imported wheelbarrows commonly found on the market have bucket thickness of about 1.0 millimetre and pipe measurements of 1.2 millimetres, making the locally produced versions stronger and longer-lasting.
Call for Support for Made-in-Ghana Goods
Rev. Aboagye appealed to both government and the general public to support locally manufactured goods.
She said increased patronage of Made-in-Ghana products would enable the company to expand operations and create employment opportunities for young people across the country.
She also encouraged traders and consumers to visit the factory to see for themselves that the products being supplied to the market are genuinely produced in Ghana.

Appeal for Government Procurement
The CEO further called on government to prioritise the use of locally manufactured construction tools for national development projects, including road construction, school buildings and other infrastructure works.
According to her, such a policy would strengthen Ghana’s local manufacturing sector, stimulate economic growth and generate sustainable jobs.

Entrepreneur and Faith Leader
Beyond her role in manufacturing, Rev. Aboagye is the founder and leader of Anointed Flames Chapel, the proprietor of Divine Royals International School, and the host of the religious programme “Adekye Is Nsroma Live.”
Her decision to establish Builders of Africa Limited forms part of a broader effort to promote Ghana’s local industrialisation drive, support the Made-in-Ghana agenda, and contribute to national development through job creation and manufacturing growth.
