The National Women Organiser of Zongo for Mahama, Hajia Mariam Mohammed, has firmly dismissed what she describes as a coordinated attempt to damage her reputation in Asamankese, insisting that her integrity remains intact despite ongoing allegations.
Speaking in response to recent claims circulating within the Asamankese enclave, Hajia Mariam stated that no amount of effort to tarnish her image will succeed, as her record of service and commitment to truth stands firm.
According to her, the allegations being peddled against her are false and malicious, and are allegedly being championed by a section of chiefs, elders, and individuals within the community.
“No amount of effort to tarnish my image will hold. My reputation has been built over years of dedication, honesty, and service to my people,” she emphasized.
Hajia Mariam further noted that the attacks are a direct consequence of her unwavering stance on issues of truth and accountability. She maintained that her refusal to compromise her principles has made her a target for those who may feel threatened by her position.
She called on the public to disregard what she described as baseless claims, urging residents of Asamankese and the wider public to focus on her track record rather than unverified accusations.
The Zongo for Mahama Women’s Organiser reaffirmed her commitment to serving her community and contributing to national development, stressing that distractions in the form of smear campaigns will not deter her from her responsibilities.
