The Chief of Adum Kwanwoma in the Atwima Kwanwoma Municipal Assembly of the Ashanti Region, Nana Agyenim Boateng Kra Addo II, has cautioned the youth against the use of hard drugs, describing the practice as a major threat to their future.

He said substances such as tramadol, marijuana, and other unregulated drugs can derail the lives of young people, especially when abused without medical prescription.

Nana Agyenim Boateng made the call in an interview with Oyerepa and Promise News after leading the youth of the Adum Kwanwoma Traditional Area on a Unity Walk, held ahead of a Christmas Football Gala he is organizing for communities in the area.

According to the chief, drug abuse continues to undermine the potential of many young people, and it is important for the youth to make responsible choices that will secure their future and contribute to community development.

He therefore urged the youth of Adum Kwanwoma, and young people across the country, to stay away from hard drugs and channel their energy into productive ventures.

Nana Agyenim Boateng also appealed for peace and unity among his people, stressing that development can only be achieved when residents work together with a shared sense of purpose.

He encouraged the youth to see themselves as key partners in the development of the Adum Kwanwoma Traditional Area and to support initiatives aimed at promoting social cohesion and progress.
