
Ghana’s Vice President, Prof. Naana Jane Opoku-Agyemang, has welcomed the Vice President of Colombia, H.E. Francia Elena Márquez Mina, to the Jubilee House as the two nations move to strengthen diplomatic and economic cooperation.
The visit, which took place on Thursday, December 11, 2025, marks a renewed commitment by both countries to deepen collaboration in trade, investment, technology, and development initiatives. Before the formal bilateral talks, the two leaders held a closed-door meeting to discuss priority areas of mutual interest.

According to the Office of the Vice President, the engagement is part of efforts to expand opportunities for shared progress through South–South cooperation. The discussions also focused on creating new pathways for inclusive development and exploring ways to boost economic partnerships between Ghana and Colombia.

The visit highlights the growing relationship between the two nations and reinforces their shared vision of advancing development through strategic international cooperation.
