The Ghana Police Service has arrested three suspected armed robbers in a coordinated operation aimed at dismantling a robbery network operating across parts of the Greater Accra Region.
The suspects, identified as Seth Noi Tetteh, also known as Wonder, Selasie Emmanuel, and Sulemana Osman, were arrested between December 24 and December 26, 2025, during an intelligence-led operation by the Police Special Support Unit.
According to police sources, the breakthrough came after the arrest of Seth Noi Tetteh at the Atadeka Police Station in connection with a series of robbery cases in Afienya and surrounding communities. During interrogation, he allegedly admitted to his involvement in several robberies and provided information on other members of the group.
Police say the suspect named multiple locations where the group had carried out attacks, including Spintex Road, Airport Residential Area, Community 18, Ashaiman, Mataheko, Oyibi, and other parts of Accra’s outskirts.

Based on the information gathered, officers traced the remaining suspects to a hideout at Kasoa Ofankor on December 26, where Selasie Emmanuel and Sulemana Osman were arrested.
A search conducted at the location led to the recovery of a pump-action shotgun, a BB cartridge, a Bruni pistol, and three rounds of ammunition. The items have been retained by the police as exhibits to aid ongoing investigations.
All three suspects remain in police custody as investigations continue. The police say efforts are ongoing to track down other members of the suspected robbery syndicate as part of broader security measures to curb violent crime in the affected communities.
