The Member of Parliament for Amenfi Central, Hon. Joana Gyan Cudjoe, has announced plans to provide fertilizer support to eligible cocoa farmers within the constituency as part of efforts to boost cocoa productivity and support local livelihoods.
In a formal notice issued from her office, Hon. Gyan Cudjoe invited cocoa farmers who require fertilizer assistance to submit their details through the National Democratic Congress (NDC) Branch Chairmen in their respective towns and communities. Farmers are required to provide their full name, town or community, and contact number to facilitate registration.
According to the statement, a designated delegation will subsequently visit registered cocoa farms to verify ownership, measure farm sizes, assess fertilizer requirements, and ensure the appropriate support and distribution of inputs.
All NDC Branch Chairmen have been mandated to compile and submit the list of interested cocoa farmers from their communities to a designated WhatsApp number, 055 145 8698, on or before 30 January 2026.
The MP emphasized that the exercise is strictly limited to cocoa farmers within the Amenfi Central Constituency and urged applicants to provide accurate information to ensure a smooth and transparent process.
Hon. Joana Gyan Cudjoe reaffirmed her commitment to supporting farmers and strengthening agricultural productivity in Amenfi Central, noting that targeted interventions such as fertilizer support remain critical to sustaining cocoa farming and improving incomes in the constituency.
