GoldBod CEO Sammy Gyamfi Receives the Prestigious ‘Suma Adinkra Sword’

GOLDBOD CEO, Sammy Gyamfi, Esq., has received the historic Suma Adinkra Sword from the Suma Traditional Council in a ceremony that celebrated his leadership and national impact. The honour came from the Paramount Chief of the Suma Traditional Area, Odeneho Dr. Affram Brempong III, who commended Mr. Gyamfi for the strong work he continues to deliver at the Ghana Gold Board.

During the presentation, the Paramount Chief praised his dedication, his vision and the positive transformation taking place under his leadership. According to the Chief, the award reflects the confidence and respect that the Suma people have for individuals who contribute to national development.

In his remarks, Sammy Gyamfi expressed deep gratitude for the recognition. He dedicated the honour to his team at the Ghana Gold Board. He also encouraged them to continue working with commitment, discipline and patriotism for the benefit of Ghana. He noted that the award strengthens their determination to create more positive change in the mining sector.

The Suma Adinkra Sword is a symbol of excellence. The Traditional Council has presented this sword to exceptional Ghanaian leaders for more than 470 years. Past recipients include former Presidents John Agyekum Kufuor, Nana Addo Dankwa Akufo Addo and John Dramani Mahama. The award remains one of the highest traditional honours in the Bono region.
