Jegri Bekala Mining Company Limited has once again demonstrated its commitment to education and community growth through a remarkable donation to students in the Dormaa area. The initiative, part of the company’s Corporate Social Responsibility (CSR) efforts, aims to support JHS graduates advancing to Senior High School (SHS) this academic year.

During a short presentation ceremony held at Abanpredease Palace, the CEO of Aduana Football Club, Collins Clancy Atta Poku, made the donation on behalf of Jegri Bekala Mining Company. The items included 1,000 mattresses, 1,000 trunks, and over 4,000 books, all meant to ease the burden on students and parents as they prepare for the next stage of their education.

Mr. Atta Poku shared his excitement about the gesture, encouraging the students to stay focused and motivated.

Their dreams are valid, and this is just the beginning. I encourage them to keep going as we bid them farewell,” he said.

The Jegri Bekala Mining Company donation to Dormaa students has been widely praised by parents, community leaders, and education stakeholders. Many described it as a timely and impactful gesture that will help boost student morale and inspire others to take their studies seriously.

This initiative forms part of Jegri Bekala Mining Company’s ongoing efforts to promote education and empower young people within the communities where it operates. The company continues to make a difference through scholarships, donations, and educational support programs across the region.

As education remains a key driver of development, such interventions remind Ghanaians of the role corporate organizations can play in shaping a brighter future for the next generation.
