
The Minister for communications Samuel George Nartey has praised the Deputy Minister, Hon. Mohammed Adams Sukparu, for his performance and commitment to duty, describing him as a key asset in efforts to stabilise and reposition the Ministry over the past six months.
In a statement reflecting on their working relationship, the Minister said Hon. Sukparu, who was appointed by President John Dramani Mahama in 2025, has proven to be a reliable and effective deputy since assuming office. According to the Minister, the Deputy Minister has represented both the Ministry and the government with distinction at national and international engagements.

Sam George noted that although their relationship began as a friendship during the 8th Parliament, it has since evolved into a stronger partnership focused on advancing the government’s Reset Agenda. He credited Hon. Sukparu with providing steady leadership support as the Ministry builds on foundations laid in the previous year.
He further expressed optimism about the future of the sector, citing recent independent assessments that ranked Hon. Sukparu among the top 10 performing Deputy Ministers.
The Minister said the recognition reflects the Deputy Minister’s dedication and effectiveness, adding that the Ministry remains focused on delivering results and sustaining reforms in the months ahead.
