Deputy National Communication Officer Hopeful of the National Democratic Congress (NDC), Sika Joshua Nartey, has called on party faithful at the grassroots level to remain resolute and united as the party works to consolidate its gains and position itself strongly for the 2028 general elections.
Speaking on Adwenekasa, a socio-political news and analysis programme on Original TV and Original FM hosted by RSM Kofi Doe Lawson, Mr. Nartey emphasized that the strength of the NDC lies in its grassroots base.
“The grassroots shall prevail,” he stated, urging members to intensify their efforts in supporting the party and government to deliver on its mandate to Ghanaians.
According to him, unity within the party is crucial at this stage. He appealed to members to bury their differences and focus on the collective interest of the NDC, stressing that hard work and cohesion at the base level will be instrumental in securing another electoral victory in 2028.
Mr. Nartey also commended the National Chairman of the party, Hon. Johnson Asiedu Nketia, for his engagement with party members across the country through the Thank You Tour programme. He described the initiative as a significant step in reconnecting with the party base and strengthening internal solidarity.

He further urged all party faithful to rally firmly behind the NDC government to ensure that campaign promises are translated into tangible development outcomes for the benefit of all Ghanaians. He noted that visible delivery and strong grassroots mobilisation will be key determinants of the party’s future success.
In addition, Mr. Nartey extended warm wishes to the Muslim community as they embark on the holy month of Ramadan. He prayed for God’s protection, direction and blessings for Muslims across Ghana, expressing hope that the period of fasting and reflection would bring peace, unity and spiritual renewal to the nation.

By reinforcing the importance of unity, grassroots activism and national inclusivity, Sika Joshua Nartey continues to position himself as an active and forward-looking voice within the NDC’s communication structure.
