Members of Heaven Way International went into intense worship Tuesday morning as their founder, Evangelist Patricia Asiamah, popularly known as Agradaa, made her first appearance following her release.
She was initially released around 8:00 a.m. from the Nsawam facility in the Nsawam Adoagyiri Constituency of the Eastern Region. From there, news of her freedom spread quickly, drawing members of the church, friends, family, sympathisers and members of the public to the church premises to catch a glimpse of her.
When she arrived, the atmosphere was charged. The renovated church auditorium was filled to capacity as congregants sang and prayed in anticipation.
In a symbolic gesture, Agradaa placed a Bible on her chest as she walked through all corners of the church, including the pulpit and the musical area, before briefly addressing members through her presence. She was seen smiling throughout the walk, acknowledging cheers from the congregation.
After moving around the auditorium and greeting supporters, she left the premises still smiling, bringing her short but highly anticipated appearance to a close.
Security presence around the church was heightened as crowds gathered, reflecting the level of public interest surrounding her return.
