The Executive Director of Global InfoAnalytics, Mussa Dankwah, says recent surveys indicate that living conditions in Ghana are improving, with many citizens reporting better quality of life and increased satisfaction compared to previous years.

Mr Dankwah explained that findings from ongoing public opinion surveys conducted by Global InfoAnalytics show a noticeable improvement in how Ghanaians perceive their living conditions and general well-being.

According to him, the data suggests that more Ghanaians now feel their living conditions are improving, particularly in their ability to meet basic needs and maintain their livelihoods.

Survey Findings Show Improved Sentiment

Mr Dankwah noted that the organisation has been tracking public opinion on economic conditions, governance and quality of life, and recent assessments show a shift towards a more positive outlook among citizens.

He contrasted the current situation with that of the previous administration, stating that during that period many Ghanaians experienced severe economic hardship and struggled to afford basic necessities, including food and other essential items.

He explained that while economic challenges have not completely disappeared, the overall trend from the surveys suggests that citizens are beginning to feel some relief in their living conditions.

Optimism Despite Challenges

Mr Dankwah emphasised that although challenges such as unemployment, cost of living and business difficulties still exist, the general sentiment among citizens is gradually improving.

He said the surveys show that many Ghanaians are becoming more optimistic about their personal economic situation and future prospects.

The Global InfoAnalytics Executive Director added that public opinion data remains an important tool for measuring citizens’ real experiences and perceptions, beyond official economic statistics.

He noted that the organisation will continue to monitor public sentiment on living conditions, economic performance and governance issues in the country.
